(SLG) is a multicultural sorority founded on April 9, 1990, at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.  SLG aligns with the following principles: Morals & Ethics, Social Interaction, Academics, Community Service, and Cultural Awareness. Through excellence in the organization's five founding principles, Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. provides opportunities for lifelong empowerment to its members. We are women of Distinction and Balance who hold our motto close to our hearts, "Culture is Pride, Pride is Success"
